Happy 90th Birthday Marv Levy

Today is Marv Levy's 90th birthday. Levy is a 2001 inductee of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and is the first of the 1990s Buffalo Bills teams to be in the hall of fame. His election snowballed the Bills legends into the hall of fame such as Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith, Ralph Wilson, last year Andre Reed, and now this year Bill Polian.

It's amazing that Levy is 90 years old as he doesn't look it and definitely doesn't act it. If blows my mind. It's amazing that Levy was 72 years old when he retired as coach in 1997, tying the legendary George Halas as the oldest head coach in NFL history. Anyway, I started to realize Levy was hitting the 90-year-old mark last March when Ralph died and Levy was a few months away from 89. Again last year when he turned 89 I was beginning to think of him as possibly going to be 90, God willing he was going to be around at 90.

It's amazing and a blessing at the same time for him to still be alive and well and really healthy a decade away from hitting the century mark. He still has both his physical and especially his mental health. Now I will pick on him for this blast from the past, thankfully he's a hall of fame coach and will never be in the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame. We still love you Marv.

Go Bills for we are here to cheer for you

Ps - Marv could probably still yell til his face turns blue at these idiot referees.
